Bus station "Hauptbahnhof"
This location features 24 bowling alleys. It is, however, always a good idea to make a reservation in advance – especially on weekends. Reservations can be made online or by phone. Generally, prices depend on the number of games and players. On Tuesdays and Thursdays students may play at special prices. Bowling shoes can be borrowed directly at the center.

Here you can experience one of the longest indoor kart racetracks in Northern Germany – fun guaranteed! The hall measures approximately 6500 m² and offers a racetrack leading over two levels. Karts feature 6.5 HP or 9.5 HP for people having a racing license.
Opening hours: Mon- Fri 15:00 Uhr - 23:00 hrs, Sat 10:00 – 0:00 hrs, Sun 10:00 - 22:00 hrs.
Prices: € 12 per ride (12 minutes), 18 € for 2 rides. Mondays and Wednesdays all rides are available at half price.

The „JoWiese“ ( or actually: Johanneswiese) is a very popular place for open-air swimming during the summer. This swimming center offers a large pool as well as a variety of smaller pools and a long waterslide. Moreover there is a beach alongside the Hohnsen lake with lots of space for sunbathing and relaxing. On a nice summer day, this is definitely THE place to be!

The Müggel lake is the ideal place for taking a day off. Located in a quiet area, this privately owned outdoor swimming center offers an excellent water quality as well as a large air cushion and ping pong tables. Equipment may be borrowed for a small fee.

The „Wasserparadies“ (“water paradise”) is a large indoor swimming complex in the center of Hildesheim. It offers a discovery area with various swimming pools, a 70-metre water slide and a 3-metre diving platform as well as an outdoor pool. Additionally, the swimming complex features a large sauna area with various different saunas.

The salt-water bath in Bad Salzdetfurth primarily is a health center with two large indoor and outdoor pools. Both are kept at a constant temperature ranging between 30 and 33° C and have a salt concentration of approximately three percent. Guests may also use the various saunas and solariums as well as the lawn for sunbathing in summer.
