The movie theater “Thega“ was completely renovated in 2008 and has now 7 comfortable auditoriums with high quality equipment. There are Loveseats in auditorium 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Current and new movies are shown and they sometimes offer “Specials”, for example Lady Preview etc. Some movies are also shown in 3D.

The “Kellerkino” used to be located near the main train station, but then moved into the Thega. Movie classics, independent and alternative movies are shown here every Tuesday night from 6 - 8.30 p.m. The entrance fee for students with ID is at 4.50 €, but there also is a semstercard for 5.00 €, which you can use the whole semester.

Das "HoKi" zeigt jeden Mittwoch im Semester um 20:00 Uhr Filme im Audimax der Universität. Zumeist handelt es sich um seltene und anspruchsvolle Filme, aber auch um Klassiker der Filmgeschichte.
